Kid's Ministry

Kids Ministry is Bethel Church’s Ministry to Children (Birth to 5th grade). Our mission is to teach children to be the L.I.G.H.T of God to the world (Matthew 5:16). We accomplish that mission through our Kids’ Church on Sundays and a partnership with parents through online activities and prayer.

At Bethel Kids Junior, we want kids from Nursery through Kindergarten to grow up understanding that:

  • God Made them.
  • God Loves them.
  • Jesus Wants to Be their Friend Forever

As your home’s primary faith trainer, we would like to encourage and help you with research so that you can continue fostering your children’s spiritual development throughout the week.

Child Dedication

At Bethel Church, we dedicate children from newborn through 1st grade. We offer the event four times a year.

Before you dedicate your child, you need to attend a Family Dedication class where you will learn more about your essential role as the Primary Faith Trainer in your child’s life. The class is offered four times per year.

Child Water Baptism

At Bethel Church, we baptize children aged ten and older.
Prior to a child’s baptism, they must acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

The ABCs of Becoming a Christian

  • ADMIT: Admit that you’re a sinner – Romans 3:23
  • BELIEVE: Believe that Jesus is God’s Son – John 3:16
  • CONFESS: Confess that Jesus is Lord – Romans 10:9-10

Resources for the whole family

We believe God designed the church and the family to work together to raise the next generation of Christians. In both the Old and New Testaments, this truth is portrayed in passages such as Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 78, Matthew 28:18-20, and Ephesians 6.

Because of this, we view discipleship as a two-sided coin: Church and the Family. If the church and family are to work together to equip the generations, we must have a common path on which to walk. We call this The Legacy Pathway, and it is our desire to help people mature along this path.
