A new season of Kairos is beginning! Every Thursday at 6:30 PM (starting September 14th), we meet to be in community with Jesus and each other. We are a community designed for young professionals working in Silicon Valley, college students, single, married with kids, or no kids. It’s a time to Gather in healthy community, Grow in our faith life, Giveback generously, and Go as missionaries. We do this all to Glorify God.
The name “Kairos” is a Greek word for a favorable moment in time. Jesus uses it in Mark 1:15 when he says, ““The time (Kairos) has come…The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” At Kairos, we want to help people experience favorable moments with God and believe the good news.
Pastor Rob Awil is our pastor. He and his wife, Brittany, lead Kairos together. Together, they love to serve our community!
Anybody! No matter what you’ve done, who you are, or what your story is; you can find a family at Kairos.
First, the doors open at 6:15. When you come you will be greeted and you can hang out and enjoy coffee. We hang out until about 6:45 or 7:00 at the latest when Pastor Rob (or someone else) begins teaching. The design is a dynamic conversation with a mix of teaching, questions, comments, table talks, etc. He always teaches straight from the Bible! Sometimes people get nervous when they join a group, but there’s no pressure to participate. The teaching and discussion generally lasts about 45 minutes. Then around 8pm, you’re free to go OR you can hang out for another hour and enjoy games, food, and community!
Kairos is located at Bethel Church (1201 S. Winchester Blvd) and we will meet in the Family Room. It’s an awesome coffee shop feel with couches, hightop tables, etc. You can find the Family Room between the two large buildings. Feel free to park between the buildings.

No judgments here. Come as you are…We have a casual environment and most people wear jeans and t-shirts
Not yet, but you can bring your kids (Pastor Rob brings his most weeks). But with more loving and caring volunteers who want to serve we can offer childcare in the future!
